Follow Friday #11

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. It is a great way to get to know other bloggers and gain new followers. The main rule? Someone follows you - you follow them back! It's only fair, right?

The question of the week:

What is the longest book you've ever read? What are your favorite 600 plus page books?

This will be embarrassing. I am not one for seeking out the big giant tomes. I am not big on the classics. War and Peace? Never read it? Stephen King? Not a big fan...soooo...Hmmmm. I guess the longest book I've ever read was:
Breaking Dawn (Twilight, #4)

at 768 pages. Geez, that's humiliating. I don't know there may be more out there, but that's all I got right now. I still have a Hunger Games premiere hangover right now, lol. So my brain is kinda fuzzy still.

How bout you? Do you like big books and cannot lie? Let me know if you're a new follower and leave me a link so I can follow you back!

Interesting question, I've always wondered which was the longest I've read and it I remember by two favourite 'door stopper' books being the classic "Vanity Fair" and the my favourite epic "A Suitable Boy". Turns out VF is 912 pages and ASB is 1474. Though ASB really reads like several stories that magically manage to interweave and overlap. I've never read War and Peace either - but the wicked Becky Sharpe aka ruthless social climber really got me into Vanity Fair.

I don't seek out long books, but I have enjoyed my fair share of them. Forgot about how long the Twilight books are...

Old GFC follower.

*Jokingly* I am trying not to judge you... Oh I'm trying.

No I understand it's difficult to find 600+ books in the YA section. I choose not to do Follow Friday this week partly because my answer would have been similar.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! New follower! I picked Twilight too (don't understand why I liked it, but I did at that time) as one of my longest books. :)

Thank you for stopping by my blog and following! Following you back :)

I don't know if it's embarrassing so much that Breaking Dawn is the longest book you've read. After seeing it on so many blogs, I realized that it is also the longest book I've read, not the one I actually picked! I more than likely didn't think of it as being so long, because I loath the Twilight books.

Happy FF Hop!

Hello there! I'm a new follower. The longest book I read was Gone With the Wind, my copy was just over 1,000 pages I think. My literature anthology is over 2,000 pages, and it makes me angry to have to lug it around. But it also makes me feel smart, because it's so freaking huge. :]

LOL! I loved the twilight Books but book 2 was my least favorite. I hated how pathetic Bella was without him.

Following back via GFC! Hope you had a great weekend!
