Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme from The Broke and the Bookish. This week's theme is the top 10 books that I would choose to take with me to if I were to "play hooky." We have been having some beautiful weather here - like cloudless sky, low 80's temps....so playing hooky sounds mighty tempting right now! I would have to take my bag of books and a nice comfy lounge chair to a nice quiet park and just read away the day. So, which books would I bring? I decided to choose all books that are already sitting on my own shelf.
How about you? What books make you consider playing hooky on a beautiful spring day?

I got a box of books today. I think I'm going to go w/ Starters.
I've always wanted to try something by John Green, would you recommend starting with The Fault in Our Stars?
Statistical Probability is on its way to me! I can't wait.
Here's my
Top Ten Books I'd Play Hooky With. Hope you will stop by!
you have some great books on that list. The Catastrophic History of You and Me was great! I keep hearing great things about the Fault in Our Stars, guess I'm going to have to check it out soon.
Thank you for stopping by my blog, I'm following you back =o)
Sarah, I haven't read Fault in Our Stars yet, so I can't say whether or not to start with that one. In fact, I don't think I've actually read anything by him yet. My daughter says Looking for Alaska is awesome.
What a fantastic list! I have a lot of these on my TBR list and spotted some new ones that I hadn't heard about. Thanks for sharing. Oh and Leanna Renee Hieber is totally awesome. I've met her a couple of times and she's so much fun. I'm glad to see her name on your list.
You have some great books sitting on your shelves! I really loved The Sky is Everywhere, and Anna. The new John Green was sort of painful to read, but it's good. http://wp.me/pzUn5-TQ
Anna, The Statistical Probability, The Fault in Our Stars, Mara Dyer- I really enjoyed all of them. I have The Catastrophic History and Darker Still on my TBR pile- can't wait to read 'em!
Re: John Green. It was suggested to me by a blogger that I start with TFIOS as it's a great entry to his style of storytelling and work my way from there.
This list is fantastic! I actually JUST read The Fault in Our Stars and Anna and the French Kiss both last week! You've got some titles on here that I'm sort of having a fit over! Love it!
Anna and the French Kiss I got so lost in that book! I love St. Clair (:
That's the only book I've read from your list, but I'm definitely going to be reading the rest of these books!
Hi Kary, thanks so much for commenting on our IMM post and following us, we're following you back :)
You have chosen one of my favourite books, The Sky is Everywhere and some of the books that I really want to read TFiOS, The Probability of Miracles and Pandemonium!
Catastrophic History was an awesome book, I still have to read Pandemonium. Good selection for hooky!
I could easily play hooky with your top 4! All of those are some of my absolute favorites and definitely worthy of skipping work for!

These are all wonderful choices!
