Musing Monday - Do you plan your upcoming reads?

Musing Monday is a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading. This week's question:

How far along are you in your current read before you start thinking about what you’ll read next?

I am always thinking ahead as to what I'm going to read next. As a book obsessed librarian to be, that's practically ALL I think about, lol! I always have a list running in my head. My review calendar dictates much of the order in which I read things as well as assigned reading for my classes. I generally have at least the next 10 books to be read planned at all times.

So, what about you? Do you always have a reading plan? Or are you a spontaneous reader? Let me know in the comments below!

Whenever I go to the library or bookstore, I usually get the first books I see on my TBR list (which I keep on my iPod.) :D
I read the books randomly, but as I read, I do sometimes plan on what books I'll be getting next in my head.

I'd love to be a librarian! What a cool job! I know the next 1-2 books I'm going to read, but never as many as 10!

Like you, I also like to plan ahead what I'm going to read. I'm not much of a spontaneous reader but I will make an exception when it comes to book tours or the galleys.

New follower too and thanks for visiting my blog!

I'm like you, I think about it before I even start a book! I usually have a stack of books I need to read by x-date, and let myself pick from those, alternating between genres.

I make actual lists to know what I need to read next, though sticking with them is only a huge problem for me :D Thanks for stopping by, and thanks for sharing, new follower! :)

I can plan, but usually I'm spontaneous. Right now my reading schedule is going to be a bit planned out because I have four books given to me by authors that I need to review.
